Account Deletion Policy
Effective Date: 01.08.2026
Last Updated: 01.08.2026
1. Introduction
This Account Deletion Policy explains how Users and Customers may request the deletion of a SiteAlytic Account, what information is deleted, what information may be retained, and how SiteAlytic processes deletion requests.
This Policy should be read together with the:
- SiteAlytic Terms of Service & License Agreement;
- SiteAlytic Privacy Policy;
- SiteAlytic Data Processing Agreement (where applicable).
2. Who May Request Account Deletion
Individual Users may request deletion of their personal User Account at any time.
For organization workspaces, deletion requests may only be submitted by an individual authorized to act on behalf of the organization, including:
- the Organization Owner;
- an Organization Administrator;
- another person authorized by the organization.
SiteAlytic may request reasonable evidence of such authorization before processing the request.
3. Methods of Submitting a Request
Account deletion requests may be submitted by:
Through the Platform
Settings → Profile → Delete Account
(where this functionality is available)
By Email

Account Deletion Request
To help us process the request efficiently, the request should include:
- Account email address;
- organization name (if applicable);
- name of the requester;
- contact information;
- any additional information necessary to identify the Account.
4. Identity Verification
To protect Customers and prevent unauthorized deletion, SiteAlytic may verify the identity or authority of the requester before processing any deletion request.
Verification may include:
- confirmation through the registered email address;
- confirmation by an Organization Administrator;
- additional identity verification where reasonably necessary.
If sufficient verification cannot be obtained, SiteAlytic may refuse or delay the deletion request until the identity or authority of the requester has been established.
5. Individual User Accounts
Deletion of an individual User Account generally results in removal of that User's personal access to the Platform.
Deletion of an individual User Account does not automatically delete:
- organization workspaces;
- company records;
- project information;
- documents uploaded by the organization;
- information required by other authorized Users.
Where the User acted on behalf of an organization, certain records may remain associated with the organization in order to preserve the integrity of business records, audit trails and project history.
6. Organization Accounts
Deletion of an organization Account may be requested only by an authorized Organization Owner or Administrator.
Before deleting an organization Account, SiteAlytic may:
- verify authority;
- confirm the request;
- provide an opportunity to export Customer Data;
- notify other Administrators where appropriate.
Deletion of an organization Account may result in termination of access for all Users associated with that organization.
7. Data Export Before Deletion
Before deleting an organization Account, Customers are strongly encouraged to export any information they wish to retain.
Following deletion, recovery of Customer Data may no longer be possible.
SiteAlytic is not responsible for loss of information that was not exported before deletion.
8. Information That Will Be Deleted
Subject to applicable law and this Policy, deletion may include:
- User profile information;
- login credentials;
- profile settings;
- notification preferences;
- uploaded files;
- photographs;
- comments;
- Account preferences;
- personal profile information;
- Customer Data scheduled for deletion;
- other information no longer required.
Deletion may involve secure deletion or irreversible anonymization.
9. Information That May Be Retained
Certain information may continue to be retained where required or permitted by applicable law.
Examples include:
- invoices;
- accounting records;
- tax documentation;
- payment history;
- audit logs;
- fraud prevention records;
- legal correspondence;
- dispute documentation;
- information required to establish, exercise or defend legal claims;
- information required by regulatory authorities.
Such information will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary.
10. Backup Systems
Deleted information may temporarily remain within encrypted backup systems until normal backup rotation and secure deletion procedures have been completed.
Backup copies are maintained solely for:
- disaster recovery;
- business continuity;
- legal compliance;
- security purposes.
Backup data is not used to restore deleted Accounts except where required for disaster recovery or applicable law.
11. Subscription Cancellation
Deletion of an Account does not automatically cancel payment obligations that have already arisen.
Where an active Subscription exists:
- future renewals may be cancelled;
- outstanding invoices remain payable;
- refunds are governed by the Terms of Service;
- billing records may continue to be retained as required by law.
12. Processing Time
SiteAlytic will process verified deletion requests without undue delay.
Most requests are completed within 30 calendar days.
Where additional verification, legal review or technical processing is required, processing may take longer where permitted by applicable law.
The requester will be informed where a significant delay is expected.
13. Withdrawal of a Deletion Request
Where technically feasible and before deletion has been completed, a requester may withdraw the deletion request.
Once deletion or anonymization has been completed, restoration of the deleted information may no longer be possible.
14. Effect of Deletion
Following completion of the deletion process:
- the Account will no longer be accessible;
- authentication credentials will be invalidated;
- access to Customer Data may end;
- active sessions will be terminated;
- deleted information may no longer be recoverable;
- remaining retained information will continue to be protected in accordance with applicable law.
15. Relationship with Other Policies
This Policy should be interpreted together with:
- the SiteAlytic Terms of Service & License Agreement;
- the SiteAlytic Privacy Policy;
- the SiteAlytic Data Processing Agreement.
Where mandatory law requires a different outcome, applicable law shall prevail.
